Ray Bezzina is a Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW) with a practice focus on teens and adults. Ray has a passion for inspiring her clients through creating a safe space where individuals can learn, set, and achieve their goals. Ray incorporates multiple therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Ray has leadership and clinical experience from a variety of populations and settings, including child protection, neurodiverse programming and education, criminal justice system, education system, and creating & facilitating professional development.

A Canine Cuddle Counselling session helps clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and more willing to engage in the therapy sessions. Many times, reluctant teens and adults will open up when the focus is on Dixie, the dog, rather than themselves
Animal therapy refers to the use of an animal for their researched ability to lower stress levels, increase willingness to participate in therapeutic interventions, support self-esteem and mood, decrease symptoms of depression, and improve client satisfaction. Additionally, research has shown that animal support can decrease symptoms of traumatic response when processing events in session.
Ray and Dixie the Canine Cuddler offers 50 minute sessions in London Ontario. Dixie is a trained, calm and loving dog that works well with teens & adults.
